End-User Licence Agreement
This agreement is between you and the licensor and covers how you may use the MixSession software.
Draft: the company details in square brackets are not filled in yet (see .env.example).
1. Parties
The licensor is Coherent Software, [street and number], [postcode and city], Denmark, CVR [CVR number] (“we”). You are the person or company that bought the licence (“you”).
2. Your licence
When you have paid, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use MixSession on up to the number of PCs stated for your product at the time of purchase, for your own work. You may make a backup copy. The licence covers the updates described on the product page when you bought it.
3. Activation
MixSession is activated with your licence key. Activation ties the licence to a PC and uses one of your available activations. You can free an activation by deactivating MixSession on that PC, or by asking us to reset it, for example after a PC has been replaced. The software may occasionally check online that your licence is still valid, and works offline in between.
4. What you may not do
- Share your licence key publicly or use one licence on more PCs than it allows.
- Sell, rent, lend or sub-license the software or your licence key.
- Copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the software, or remove or bypass the licence checks, except where the law explicitly allows it regardless of this agreement.
5. Ownership
We own the software and everything in it. You own the music you use with it and the mixes you make. MixSession does not claim any rights in your music or your mixes, and you are responsible for having the rights to the music you mix and publish.
6. Revoking a licence
We may switch off a licence if it was refunded, if the payment was reversed, or if it is used in breach of this agreement, for example shared publicly. Where possible we will contact you first.
7. Warranty and liability
MixSession is provided to work as described on our website. As a consumer you keep all rights under the law if it does not, see the Terms of Sale. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the price you paid for the licence. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or anything that cannot be limited by law.
8. Personal data
Activation sends your licence key, a machine identifier and your PC's name to our servers. See the privacy policy.
9. Governing law
Danish law applies. Consumers in other countries keep the protections of their home country's mandatory consumer law. Questions: [support email].
