Terms of Sale

These terms apply when you buy a MixSession licence from this website. Please read them before you order.

Draft: the company details in square brackets are not filled in yet (see .env.example).

1. Who we are

The seller is Coherent Software, [street and number], [postcode and city], Denmark, CVR [CVR number]. You can reach us at [support email]. More details are on our contact page.

2. What you are buying

A licence to use MixSession, our software for planning and rendering DJ mixes on Windows. The licence is delivered digitally as a licence key. The software itself is not sold; you receive the right to use it under the End-User Licence Agreement. What the licence includes, such as how many PCs it can be activated on and which updates it covers, is stated on the product page when you order.

3. Prices and tax

Prices are shown in euro before tax. Value-added tax (VAT) is calculated from your billing address and added at checkout, where you see the total you will pay before you confirm. If you are a business in another EU country, you can enter your VAT number at checkout, and VAT will be handled according to the rules that apply.

4. Ordering and payment

You order by filling in your name and email, ticking the confirmation boxes and paying. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. The contract is concluded when your payment is confirmed. We may refuse or cancel an order if we suspect fraud or if the price was clearly wrong, in which case you get a full refund.

5. Delivery

Your licence key is shown on the confirmation page and emailed to the address you entered, normally within a few minutes of payment. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder and then use Lost your licence key? or contact us.

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content that is delivered right away this right ends once delivery has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal. We ask for both at checkout. The details, and how refunds work, are on the refunds and withdrawal page.

7. If something is wrong

The licence and the software must work as described. If they do not, you have the remedies the law gives consumers for defective digital content, including having the problem fixed, a price reduction or cancelling the purchase. Under Danish law you have two years from delivery to complain, and you should do so within a reasonable time after you discover the problem. Contact us at [support email] and describe what happened.

8. Our liability

We are liable according to Danish law. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data to the extent the law allows us to exclude this, and nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights. MixSession reads your music files but does not change them; keep backups of anything that matters.

9. Personal data

How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applied when you ordered keeps applying to your purchase. The version you accepted is recorded with your order.

11. Governing law and complaints

Danish law applies. If you are a consumer in another EU country, you also keep the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. If we cannot solve a problem together, consumers can complain to Center for Klageløsning (forbrug.dk) or go to the courts. Disputes with business customers are decided by the Danish courts.
